GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GREEN CROSS INTERNATIONAL  2007

2007 The Biennial General Conference of Green Cross International was held from 5 to 7 October in New Orleans, USA. It was attended by Chief Adviser Jeewan Kumaranatunga and President of Green Cross Sri Lanka Jagath Seneviratne.

This occasion was a great help to Green Cross Sri Lanka as participants were able to observe the devastation caused to the people of New Orleans by Hurricane Katrina. Mikhail Gorbachev and other eminent officials of Green Cross International was afforded and to associate with the distinguished invitees of GCNO of other countries.
