Donation of Some Materials for Blind College, Ratmalana - 2017
The Green Cross Sri Lanka conducted several welfare programs under their main objectives in every year. Our program conducted under environmental, Educational, Social welfare etc. We have conducted one Welfare program every year. This year we have also planned a welfare program to donate some material to the students of Blind College at Ratmalana. As intimated earlier Green Cross Sri Lanka in collaboration with Mitsubishi Corporation donated the bellow items to the Blind School Rathmalana on 04th of October 2017.
 
Accordingly, the donation was handed over by Ms. Menaka Seneviratne, the Secretary to General Manager of Mitsubishi Corporation and Ms.Hasitha Walpola the Assistant Director of Green Cross Sri Lanka to the Principal and the students of the Blind School.

The following list of items were donated,

Beds – 15

Mattress – 15

Cupboards – 10

These items were very beneficial to the students, and they highly appreciated the work carried out by our Organization. In fact, the Principal and the staff members along with the students thanked us and the Mitsubishi Corporation for the donation of the above items for the use of the students of the school and their hostels.  

  • Construct new building for Aesthetic Unit at Anuradhapura Aluth Halmillewa Vidyalaya in Padaviya Sri Lanka in 2018
  • Donating school equipment to the 200 poor students in Pulawela & Tampitiya villagers in 2018
