GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GREEN CROSS INTERNATIONAL 2017

The Green Cross International General Assembly was held at Geneva in Switzerland from 01^st to 05^th October 2017 and on behalf of Green Cross Sri Lanka, Dr. Jagath Seneviratne President attended the occasion.

The opportunity for meeting Hon. Mikhail Gorbachev and other eminent officials of Green Cross International was afforded and also to associate with the distinguished invitees of GCNO of other countries.

Green Cross Sri Lanka was established as the 29th member of Green Cross family on 16th of September 2005 after signing the Memorandum of Understanding by Hon. Shoo Iwasaki ,President of Green Cross Japan on behalf of Green Cross International and on behalf of Sri Lanka by Dr. Jagath Seneviratne as the Charter President of Green Cross Sri Lanka, Former Lecturer in the Japanese Language unit, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
