In 2023, overcoming the challenges brought by the pandemic in 2020, we reintroduced the Green Lane Diary Program, marking a significant stride towards normalcy and progress.

Introduction to School Children:

Representatives from Green Cross Sri Lanka visited selected schools to introduce the Green Lane Diary competition, providing detailed explanations on how to participate and what to write in the distributed diaries. A total of 2200 diaries were distributed to the schools. Once the students completed their entries, we collected all the diaries within the first two weeks of October 2023.

Award Ceremony 2023

The Green Lane Diary Program’s Award Ceremony is scheduled for December 2023. Attendees will include the winners, their parents, the winning teacher, and a teacher associated with the winning student, symbolizing the culmination of the program’s success.
