On 8th December 2023, representatives from the Embassy of Japan, including Mr. Suzuki, Ms. Mariko, and Ms. Janani visited the Fourth Smart Water Project site in Lahugala Village, Mahaoya, Ampara District. The visit was conducted as part of the official completion monitoring of the project, which was funded by Green Cross Japan and the Embassy of Japan in Sri Lanka.

Their visit marked a meaningful moment of collaboration, mutual respect, and environmental commitment. We are especially grateful to the Embassy of Japan for their generous support, which enabled the successful implementation of the project, providing clean drinking water to over 190 families in this rural village.
